live with orchestra on the Sony Scoring Stage,
again under the direction of Grant Gershon.

James Newton Howard
created a driving, contemporary rhythm track
which played underneath the orchestra and chorus,
to bring the composition into the 21st century but also
to emphasize the intensity and undercurrent of the battle scenes in Afghanistan,
which were interspersed with scenes of the elegant high-level Christmas party
going on simultaneously in Washington DC. "
